At Burlington Community Robotics (BCR), we’re building more than just robots — we’re shaping the future of innovation, teamwork, and leadership in our community. Your generous support helps us empower students of all backgrounds to dream big, learn valuable STEM skills, and become tomorrow’s problem solvers.

Every donation, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact. Together, we can continue to provide hands-on learning experiences, build a vibrant and inclusive community, and keep inspiring young minds to reach for the stars. Thank you for believing in BCR and helping us fuel a brighter future.

Why donate to BCR?

Burlington Community Robotics (BCR) runs more than a single competitive team. We’re building a community learning space to offer:

  • Intro programs for youth and newcomers to STEM
  • Access to shop and fabrication resources for community members
  • Mentorship, workshops, and co-ops that connect students with local industry
  • Community events, league nights, and hands-on experiences for all ages

Where your gift goes

  • Access & equity: program subsidies and gear so cost isn’t a barrier
  • Shared infrastructure: rent, insurance, safety training, utilities
  • Tools & materials: machines, maintenance, consumables, classroom kits
  • Community Events & Programs: workshops, league nights, community events
  • Student pathways: co-ops, projects with local businesses, career exposure

In short, your donation fuels the shared infrastructure that makes all of this possible

Giving Opportunities

Support a Student — up to $1,000
While we strive to keep our programs as affordable as possible, sometimes its still too much for some families – help us reduce the cost barriers for families by sponsoring a student. Supports fees, materials, safety gear, and travel. Unused funds roll back into programs to help all students.

Help us acquire materials, field components and small tools —
$1,000–$10,000
Running a shop like BCR consumes materials, supplies and requires ongoing repair and replacement of small tools. Your donation helps keep our tool room stocked and ready to go for any of the programs we offer here at BCR

Grow Our Shop & Training Space — $10,000+
Help us add industry-standard equipment and expand capacity so more students can learn hands-on engineering, fabrication, and trades skills in the BCR shop space

Enable us to spread to word by supporting our outreach activities — $10-25,000
Support our goal of getting STEM education opportunities in front of students and the general public beyond the walls of BCR. Your donation will help us build specialized demo robots and acquire a trailer to transport them to events across Burlington (and beyond)

Invest in BCR’s Future — $100,000+
Anchor Burlington’s year-round STEM hub with a leadership gift to our long-term fund. Your support builds a permanent reserve that creates predictable, annual support for core essentials—access & equity (student bursaries and travel), shop & facility upkeep (machines, safety, maintenance), and program growth (mentorship, outreach, and community events). These gifts safeguard BCR through economic ups and downs, expand capacity for more learners, and ensure BCR remains a reliable community asset for decades to come. We’ll work with you (and your advisors) on giving options—multi-year pledges, gifts of securities, donor-advised funds, planned gifts, or significant in-kind equipment—and offer meaningful recognition aligned with your goals.

Let’s build something enduring together.

Community partnerships

We collaborate with local companies and educators to offer real-world experiences. Many students find co-ops and summer roles with our partners, and alumni often become skilled hires. Interested in partnering, mentoring, or providing in-kind support? We’d love to chat!
